Ladders
Using an agility ladder laid flat on the ground, move through a variety of foot-patterns (for example: quick steps, lateral shuffles, hops) with light contact and focus on the balls of your feet. The calves work to stabilise the ankles, assist rapid foot-placement and support efficient landing and push-off. This drill sharpens lower-leg responsiveness, improves balance and footwork, making your calves function more reliably in dynamic movement.
