Double Leg Heel Raise Over Step

| 11/11/2025

Stand with the balls of both feet on a raised step, heels hanging off the edge. Rise up onto your toes using both legs, then slowly lower your heels below step level to maximise the stretch and control. This exercise strengthens the calf muscles (gastrocnemius and soleus) and improves ankle-foot stability through the full range of motion — ideal for general lower-leg conditioning, and a reliable complement in a calf-muscle programme.
